The Maya

The Nightkeepers left their imprint on each of the cultures they lived with throughout their long history, and were in turn influenced by these cultures. However, their ancestral thoughts and beliefs are best reflected in the myths and beliefs of the ancient Mayan Empire, which spanned much of Central America for nearly three millennia.
